See Sound Lounge gets a major design overhaul

Saturday, October 2nd, 2010

See Sound Lounge boasts an already impressive fusion of lights, color, visuals and music. Now with the addition of our largest custom piece to date, Seattle’s best lounge looks even more stunning. The process was in refining what makes See Sound… well, See Sound. Visuals common to the space are inspired by celestial bodies both intergalactic and female, colorful nature themes, visual science experiments and organic waves that flow in time to the impressive line up of music played nightly. Taking these cues, Surface created an environment that mixes tech, nature and the organic to produce a little something to tempt you with even more visual delights.

Vancouveresque Montreal

Monday, June 8th, 2009

I’ve recently moved back east to open up an Eastern Canada branch for Surface Collective, and am stoppping in Montreal for a short while before heading to Toronto.  As beautiful as BC is,  I feel at times I could be in Vancouver, amidst the trees and the bodies of water and the inner peace inducing  natural habitats which freckle the city.  With the exception of the french conversations,  brick houses and the inability to turn right on red,  I really could be in West Point Grey, on a somewhat larger scale.

Look for exciting things to happen with Surface Collective as we bring our Wall Tattoos east! We’re excited about this expansion, and look forward to building the business east of the Prairies.
